Expansion Joints and Flexible Connectors

REP offers flexible connectors to isolate the blower or vacuum pump from other system components. This isolation is critical to allow for thermal expansion and mis-alignment of the piping.

Multiple styles are available to suit these needs. The two most commonly used is a flexible hose and a single arch type expansion joint.

Flexible hose is typically used for pipe sizes up to 5" Schedule 40 pipe. A single arch type expansion joint is typically used on a flanged connection.

REP also utilizes compression type couplings that provide mechanical support but also allow for thermal expansion.
