Silencers
Positive Displacement Blower create a pressure pulse each time the impeller passes the inlet or discharge connection. Silencers provide a means to reduce the pressure pulse as well as attenuate the noise generated by the pressure pulse. In general, positive displacement blowers should have a silencer in close proximity to the discharge of the unit to reduce the pulsation and reduce the noise.
