I can't read my blower nameplate, how do I know what model I have?

There are several key dimensions and several characteristics that can be identified that will help determine your blower model.

Measure the following features on your blower:
  • Measure the shaft diameter

  • Measure the connection size

  • Measure or estimate the distance between shaft centers.

  • Measure the cylinder length
Determine the following features:
  • Is the air or gas connection threaded, flanged or has a special adapter?

  • Are the feet cast as part of the headplate or are they bolt on?

  • Does the gearbox cover appear to be cast iron or aluminum?

  • How does the air or gas flow through the unit? Side to Side? Top to Bottom?
Another excellent resource is to go to our Blower Photo Gallery and browse through the units to find one that is similar to your unit.
