I can't read my blower nameplate, how do I know what model I have?
There are several key dimensions and several characteristics that can be identified that will help determine your blower model.Measure the following features on your blower:
- Measure the shaft diameter
- Measure the connection size
- Measure or estimate the distance between shaft centers.
- Measure the cylinder length
- Is the air or gas connection threaded, flanged or has a special adapter?
- Are the feet cast as part of the headplate or are they bolt on?
- Does the gearbox cover appear to be cast iron or aluminum?
- How does the air or gas flow through the unit? Side to Side? Top to Bottom?
