Custom Equipment Noise Enclosure

We usually design noise enclosures to house our blower packages, but we can also create a custom enclosure to house a customer’s existing equipment.  In this project our customer had their own pump package that required acoustical dampening and protection from the elements. We designed a fully enclosed housing that would accomodate the equipment piping and meet the acoustic requirements.

The enclosure was built with 14 gauge galvanized steel skin and insulated with 2″ mineral wool.  Access panels were strategically placed for ease of operation and maintenance. A heater along with the necessary controls and switches allow monitoring and adjustment of the internal temperature.

  • 1. Fabricated Carbon Steel Sub-Base with lifting lugs and forkways for easy transport
  • 2-6. Piping Weldments, Brackets, and Stanchions to secure pump package
  • 7. Enclosure Assembly including
    • Removeable Access Doors on both sides for equipment maintenance
    • Inspection Panel to easily access equipment controls
    • Intake Air Filter and Ventilator Exhaust Fan
    • Radiant Heater, Thermostat and Temperature Switch
  • 8. Heat Shield Safety Weldment

The customer sent their equipment to our facility where our team mounted all of the components and wired the fan and switches. Connecting the equipment to the piping would be completed by the customer on site, so our enclosure included penetration plates and electrical punch plates for easy access.
