Customized Container for Dry Type Transformer System

For this project, pdblowers started with a standard shipping container and highly modified it to house a dry type transformer system. This included reinforcing the sub structure, adding special access ports throughout, new custom side panels, and more.

In addition to modified shipping containers, pdblowers also frequently builds custom containers from the ground up.

Starting with a standard shipping container, access doors for the transformer system were added along the side.

Custom doors and access ports were added on all sides of the container.

Fabricated side panels were added throughout the interior of the shipping container.

Some of the special access ports are hinged and can remain completely closed when the container is being moved.
