How much oil and grease is needed for a Eurus ZZ blower?

Eurus ZZ blowers utilize grease on the drive end and oil on the gear end.  Please note, the amounts listed in your manual and on this website are an approximate amount of oil to have on hand for the oil change.   When adding oil to your blower, the correct oil level in the oil sump is determined strictly by using the oil sight glass or oil level plug.  Make sure you use these indicators so you do not overfill the unit!

An initial fill of oil is required before starting up your blower for the first time. The first oil change should be done after the first 100-200 operating hours. After this your oil change frequency will depend on operating hours; check your manual for recommended oil change intervals.  For Eurus units that use grease lubrication on the drive end, they typically leave the factory prefilled with a lithium complex grease.  Grease should be topped off as needed; the Eurus manual suggests at least every 200 operating hours.
