Rain delays are a significant challenge in motorsports, often leading to long interruptions and disruptions. The Air Titan 2.0 system was developed to address this issue by dramatically reducing the time required to dry a wet track. Unlike traditional methods that rely on heated air, the Air Titan 2.0 uses compressed air to blow water off the track surface. This water is then collected by a vacuum truck, making the process more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The Air Titan 2.0 can dry a track up to 80% faster than conventional methods, minimizing delays and ensuring that races can resume swiftly. This efficiency not only enhances the racing schedule but also improves the overall fan experience by reducing downtime during events.

At pdblowers, we are proud to contribute to the success of the Air Titan 2.0 system.  Starting with the initial R&D phase, our team worked alongside the NASCAR engineers in Concord providing consultation, equipment and on-site support as needed throughout the project. Ultimately, the Roots 624 RAM model was chosen to power the Air Titan system. Roots RAM blowers are known for their reliability, durability, and performance, making them the perfect choice for such a critical application.

The use of our blowers in the Air Titan 2.0 system showcases the versatility and effectiveness of positive displacement blowers in unique and demanding applications.

The Air Titan 2.0 system is a testament to NASCAR’s dedication to improving the sport, and we are honored to be a part of this advancement with our Roots positive displacement blowers. Whether it’s drying a race track or powering other industrial applications, pdblowers continues to deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
