Swing check valves are a lightweight, wafer style valve with a hinged swinging disc. The slim design fits between two flanges and takes up very little space in the piping system.
This design is ideal for pneumatic and bulk material handling industries where process material could potentially be in the line. Particles moving backwards in the system can damage elastomer-hinged valves—leading to valve failure—but this swing design has a stainless steel thru hinge for the utmost durability. The aluminum body and seat have type II anodization to provide corrosion resistance and wear protection. Should you wish to do preventative maintenance at any time, the valve seat can be easily replaced.
These valves are manufactured in America from domestic aluminum.
