The Best Choice for Blower Packages
After using adjustable motor bases for many years on hundreds of blower packages, pdblowers developed several upgrades that make the motor bases far more durable and easy to use than other commercially available motor bases.
- NEMA Standard. Our adjustable motor bases are built for standard NEMA motor frame sizes 143 through 447.
- Fully welded heavy duty construction. Instead of a single weld point on the frame, our bases have fully welded corners for durability and strength. Large sizes also have welded gussets on the sides for extra support.
- Rust & Corrosion Resistant. Each of our motor bases is given an AMAA certified powder coat finish to prevent rust and corrosion and provide the best performance in a tough environment.
- No more stripped screws! Rather than using standard cap screws, our base utilizes durable B7 threaded rod made from heat-treated alloy steel manufactured to ASTM A193 B7 standards.
- Easy to adjust. For frame sizes 364 and larger, nuts are welded to the base frame in two opposing corners and fitted with 6” zinc-plated steel bolts. These pushing bolts are used to help position the motor and adjust the alignment without having to put force on the primary adjusting screws which also helps prevent stripping of those threads.
- Manufactured in America. Every pdblowers adjustable motor base is constructed from American A36 carbon steel plate and manufactured in the United States at our production facility in Gainesville, GA. Our bases meet all requirements for the Buy American Act (BAA) and the Build America Buy America Act (BABAA).
Our motor bases are kept in stock for use on all pdblowers blower packages and can be purchased individually.
