The Sutorbilt 3M Positive Displacement Blower is a model in Gardner Denver’s Sutorbilt Legend series. The current series is the “S” series, so new 3M models may be referred to as 3MS blowers. Older series include the 3MR, 3MP, 3ML, 3MF and 3MB blowers.

Model numbers consist of 7 characters and will be stamped on a nameplate on the blower. The first four characters will be the same for all of the 3M blower models. The last three characters will indicate the configuration, series and basic options for the specific blower.
