Roots VJ vacuum blowers are designed to handle a limited quantity of liquid without damage. This permits introduction of sealing water at the blower inlet to improve operating efficiency and reduce internal temperature rise. Part or all of the water required for sealing purposes may be present in the process being served by the blower. To establish and maintain continued satisfactory performance, a Roots VJ vacuum blower must be operated within certain approved limiting conditions. The Manufacturer’s warranty is contingent on such operation. See the Manufacturer’s Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual for details on the maximum allowable operating conditions.
