Aluminum Swing Check Valves
These lightweight 4″ check valves are an excellent choice to prevent flow from reversing in air and gas applications. Designed for installation between two flanges in a piping system, a balanced disc is hinged near the top of the disc which allows the disc to open with a minimum pressure differential.

Worry-Free Operation
This design is ideal for pneumatic and bulk material handling industries where process material could potentially be in the line.  Particles moving backwards in the system can damage elastomer-hinged valves—leading to valve failure—but this swing design has a stainless steel thru hinge for the utmost durability.  The aluminum body and seat have type II anodization to provide corrosion resistance and wear protection.  Should you wish to do preventative maintenance at any time, the valve seat can be easily replaced.

This 4″ valve is manufactured from domestic materials at the pdblowers headquarters in Gainesville, GA and is compliant with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act.

Minimal Space Requirement
The 4″ Swing Check Valve has an outer diameter of 6 7/8″ and thickness of 5/8″.  It is typically mounted between 150# flanges in the piping, after the blower and discharge silencer.

Operation
When airflow is passing through the piping system in the correct direction, the positive pressure pushes the valve open allowing air to flow through.  If there is no positive flow, the valve disc falls closed and prevents possible backflow from reaching the pump.
