US Valve Series 31 Dual Disc Wafer Style Check Valves
Dual Plate Wafer Check Valves have been the preferred choice for decades due to their proven reliability and low pressure drops. All US Valve check valves are tested to API 598 and must meet or exceed all applicable API, ANSI and ASTM Standards.

Low Pressure Drop (High Cv)
Dual plate wafer check valves have larger open area than other designs, thus reducing pressure drop compared to swing, lift or other check valves.

5050 Style Check Valve
The US Valve 31 series is equivalent to the Techno 5050 Style valve. Dimensions and performance are the same. The primary functional difference is the retainer-less design of the Techno 5050; the standard Techno design has a center post that fully supports the internal assembly without an external pins or plugs, so there are no holes and plugs in the body which could potentially allow fugitive emissions to atmosphere. If you have a gas application you may want to consider a Techno 5050 valve or contact us about a retainerless option from US Valve.
